Just put the pen to paper
The hardest part is always the start
Don't let your confidence waver
Don't let the mind get in the way of the heart

If you want to write, just do
Anything is better than if you don't
Whatever follows, see it through
If you will, you'll beat the won't

'Failure is not an option,' you once wrote
That lessons can be learned from each mistake
You know through writing you get stuff out
That sometimes it's what you need to get a break

Open that vent, blow off some steam
Sometimes writing, you know, works best
Now go on, pursue that dream
